Our Under 12s played gallantly, but could not halt the waves of attacks from a taller, faster and overall more skilful opposition. There were, nevertheless several good moves upfield throughout the game, and Seaford probably missed out due to a lack of faith in themselves, which deprived the forward players of support when it was most needed. Although 0-6 sounds bad, it would have been far worse had Seaford's defence not demonstrated as much determination and skill as they did, and for which they should be proud of themselves. The Seaford unfortunate goalie was outpaced, but managed several saves by intelligently reading the play and advancing at the right times.
